Security Personnel

As a Security Guard with TGC, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment in a retail/residential or industrial setting. You will protect property, support tenants and customers, and respond to incidents with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises to ensure safety and security of staff, tenants, and visitors.

• Observe and report suspicious activities, theft, or vandalism.

• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.

• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site rules.

• Complete accurate incident and shift reports.

• Assist law enforcement, emergency responders, and management when required.

Working Conditions

Retail/residential/industrial environments with high public interaction.

Standing and walking for extended periods.

Shift work including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Minimum 18 years of age (as required by law).

• Valid Saskatchewan Security Guard Licence (or ability to obtain one).

• Completion of the 40-hour Saskatchewan Basic Security Guard Training and ability to pass the Ministry exam (75% minimum).

• Must pass a criminal record check.

• Strong communication, observation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service is an asset.

• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
