Job description

Total Group of Companies (TGC), is an industrial service company specializing in fire, rescue, medical, HSE and training services.   

 

TGC is actively seeking Rope Rescue Technicians for an upcoming restoration project within Saskatchewan.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • All technicians are primarily accountable for planning and providing industrial technical rescue standby to clients

  • Rescue Support

  • High Angle Rescue

  • Working at Heights/Fall Protection

  • Confined Space Rescue

  • Confined Space Attendant & Air Monitoring

The ideal candidate would possess the following traits:

Travel Requirements:

  • Mobilization and demobilization logistics coordinated by TGC. 

  • Must be prepared for limited/seasonal accessibility (ice roads, weather delays). 

  • Possess valid driver’s license and ability to operate company or emergency vehicles if needed. 

Rotation:

  • Typical rotation: 2–3 weeks on / 1–2 weeks off (flexible based on project scope). 

  • On-site Rescue Technician must remain available for on-call emergency response during shifts. 

  • Maintain adaptability for extended stays if required by project needs (e.g., weather delays). 

Job requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.

  • Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN.

  • Hold a valid driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle.

  • Be able to produce a clean or satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.

  • Have the ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing.

  • NFPA 1006 or equivalent

  • All oilfield tickets such as first aid and H2S Alive.
