Job description

Total Group of Companies (TGC), is an industrial service company specializing in fire, rescue, medical, HSE and training services.   

 

TGC is actively seeking Confined Space Rescue Technicians who hold a minimum of a two day CSE and Rescue Course or NFPA 1006 (or equivalent) for an upcoming restoration project within Saskatchewan. This is an excellent opportunity with the project anticipated to last well over a year. Accommodation and subsidence is provided.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • All technicians are primarily accountable for planning and providing industrial technical rescue standby to clients

  • Rescue Support

  • Confined Space Rescue

  • Confined Space Attendant & Air Monitoring

Travel Requirements:

  • Mobilization and demobilization logistics coordinated by TGC. 

  • Must be prepared for limited/seasonal accessibility (ice roads, weather delays). 

  • Possess valid driver’s license and ability to operate company or emergency vehicles if needed. 

Rotation:

  • Typical rotation: 14 and 7

  • On-site Rescue Technician must remain available for on-call emergency response during shifts. 

  • Maintain adaptability for extended stays if required by project needs (e.g., weather delays). 

Job requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum certification required: a 2-day Confined Space Entry & Rescue course or NFPA 1006 (or equivalent)

  • Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN.

  • Hold a valid driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle.

  • Be able to produce a clean or satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.

  • Minimum 18 years of age.

  • Have the ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing.

  • All oilfield tickets such as first aid and H2S Alive.
