Job description
The Account Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting safety programs for external companies. The Account Manager will be responsible for promoting Total Group, organizing courses, distributing equipment, and instructing courses such as Working at Heights, First Aid, Confined Space, and other courses as required.
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations, daily task and activities include but are not limited to:
Develop a sales strategy and promote business development.
Administrative duties such as invoicing and student data entry.
Establish and work with clients to ensure legislative requirements are met or exceeded.
Develop, manage, and deliver safety training programs with up-to-date legislation.
Instruct Working at Heights, First Aid, Confined Space, Elevated Platform and JHSC - other courses may be assigned.
Provide clients with advice on safety equipment and facilitate sales as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
The ideal candidate would possess the following traits:
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver health and safety related training.
Ability to develop relationships throughout the organization and interact with the Executive Leadership Team.
Self-motivated team player, enthusiastic about health and safety.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Proficient computer skills and thorough understanding of Microsoft office suite.
Experience in managing multiple priorities.
Well organized and able to work independently and utilize sound judgement to perform all assigned duties with minimal supervision.
Experience working within a team environment.
Excellent client service skills
Positive and professional work ethics which include: Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Sales experience in the industrial or construction sector.
Degree, diploma or certificate program from a post-secondary and accredited institution an asset.
